Royal FloraHolland wins SAP Quality Award for Innovation with McCoy

On October 6th, the Dutch SAP Community gathered in the offices of SAP The Netherlands to hear which customers would win an SAP Quality Award in 2017. SAP selects 3 customers in each category (Innovation, Business Transformation and Fast Delivery) who a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award. We nominated the Best in Finance program of our customer Royal FloraHolland (RFH), because we thought our implementation program of SAP S/4HANA, Embedded BPC and SAP Ariba Buying & Invoicing was really a mind-blowing project. New SAP technology, a customer that is changing at an immense speed and the fact that we deliver end-2-end functionality from the cloud were our USP’s. Eventually we ended up winning Silver in the category Innovation.

On the corporate website, RFH compliments all team members of the Best in Finance program. The judges of the SAP Quality Awards were impressed by the speed of innovation within the program, while safeguarding that the project met all quality principles of SAP.

Wilco van de Wijnboom, Manager Accounting & Reporting at RFH, states: “With the SAP S/4HANA platform implemented by McCoy & Partners, we need less people to cover all our financial processes. The number of manual transactions has significantly dropped, and the month end closure is much faster than before. Since Go-Live 6 months ago we have had zero downtime, which is crucial for our cooperative organization”.

Jan Laros, Account Manager RFH at McCoy, is also delighted with winning the award. “I want to thank all team members. Without the people in the project teams, the business representatives and the support of SAP we wouldn’t have been able to perform this well. I am extremely proud and we are looking forward to taking the next step with RFH to leverage the SAP Digital Core even further.”
