ARIBA Contract Management went live. Next step in closing the loop for Nouryon Procurement

McCoy & Partners recently went live with a global implementation of Ariba Contract Management at Nouryon. After having deployed Ariba Buying with integration to Ariba network and SAP back-end this was the next step in closing the loop. See also the news item (in Dutch only) on the Go-Live for Ariba Guided Buying.

With the Ariba Contract Management implementation a significant process improvement has been achieved and 3 legacy systems used for contract approval and contract storage were phased out. To ensure historical data was not lost, all relevant legacy contracts were also migrated into Ariba using standard upload tools available. On top of that, by integrating DocuSign for e-signatures, the paper trail of contracts is reduced significantly.

Besides these process improvements the key deliverable was to reach an improved contract compliance. Already now, sourcing events once awarded can be converted into contracts. The sourced items can be pushed from the contract to the catalog to enable requisitioning from Guided Buying. In future, also pushing the contracts into SAP Outline agreements is part of the internal roadmap.

Considering the project kick-off was early February 2020, once again the team of Nouryon and McCoy delivered this go-live within 3 months - on time and within budget – even during these challenging times!
