Wefabricate is a fast-growing contract manufacturer specializing in electronics, metalworking, plastics, and system integration. This growth calls for processes that can scale smartly in every way. That’s why McCoy implemented a real-time bank integration with SAP.
Strategic Objective
The challenge for Wefabricate was clear: how do we ensure that our financial processes keep pace with the growth of the organization?
In particular, the exchange of payment files and bank statements with their main bank, the Rabobank, played a crucial role in this. These are critical processes where accuracy, transparency, and security are paramount. Within the existing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment, Wefabricate was looking for a solution that could make these processes smarter and more reliable.
Why McCoy?
The combination of SAP knowledge and McCoy's pragmatic approach ensured that a future-proof solution could be quickly realized, aligning with the existing IT landscape.
Smart bank integration with API technology
Together with Wefabricate and Rabobank, McCoy developed two innovative interfaces based on API technology.
The outgoing payment orders are sent via API messages instead of traditional files. This means that no manual actions are required for the exchange of information. As a result, the process is not only more efficient but also more secure.
In addition, the incoming bank statements are automatically imported into SAP daily via APIs. Here too, the dependency on files has completely disappeared, and the process has been replaced by direct electronic communication.
